Little House Blog

Little House Blog “Hi. My name is Lindsay Stephenson and this is my blog. Between running my stationery shop “The Penny Paper Co.” and running after my two and a half year old son, Oscar – I write about what inspires me, the projects I do for fun, life observations and everything in between. You may have seen some of my projects. I’ve been been called “DIY Masters” by Apartment Therapy, I’ve been given a shoutout by the almighty Sarah Richardson and our projects have been making the rounds all around the web. My blog has been featured in Style at Home Magazine and we’re listed as one of the top design bloggers by House and Home Magazine on their website.”

Centsational Girl

Centsational Girl Logo “Hello and welcome to Centsational Girl! I’m Kate, bargain hunter, design lover, incurable DIYer, and mother to three, living in Northern California’s Wine Country. I’m a simple gal with a simple dream: transforming the drab into the fab with an arsenal of paintbrushes, primer, and power tools. In pursuit of diamond style on a dime, I shop thrift stores, flea markets, antique stores, and Craigslist with an eye for transforming and repurposing found objects. My motto is ‘fabulous, for less’ and I’ll show you how to fix up your home with style and on a budget, one do-it-yourself project at a time.”

Tidbits from the Tremaynes

tidbits from the tremaynes “Hi. I’m Mandi. I build crap. I’m raising 4 homies. I take massive amounts of pictures. And I’m not afraid to show the embarrassing ones. I believe that molding will make the world a better place. I believe you can never have too much trim. I believe the bigger, the better. I believe that projects always come before cleaning. My house is always a disaster. I love Netflix, eating, and my Play Station 3. I believe that everyone should get 9 hours of sleep at night, and nothing should start before 9 am. Maybe 10. Welcome to this funny farm.”

Nesting Place

nesting-place-logo “I started Nesting Place in November of 2007. I’ve always had a love affair with my house, ok, with all houses, and this blog is a place for you to come and find decorating encouragement, creative ideas, and be reminded that “It doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful”. I know what it’s like to want a pretty house and not have much to work with and still have to get dinner on the table, nurse a baby and wash your hair. I know what it’s like to rent and live with white walls and ugly carpet. I have decorated on no budget in the past. I’ve decided not to wait until my house is perfect to share it, use it and love it. I regret those years where I spent my time wishing my home was something more and not enjoying what I had. This isn’t a DIY blog. This isn’t a typical decorating blog. This is a blog about how to think about your home. And along the way, I hope you and I both can focus more on our own personal style. Your current home can be the home you love.”

The Handmade Home

the-handmade-home-logo “We’re the ones who constantly wear paint stains on our clothes. And sometimes, in our hair. We began our adventure together as college sweethearts, and after a decade of marriage, 3 offspring, and a mortgage later, it’s like we woke up one morning, in the tropics of Alabama still covered in sawdust when the realization hit us: This is our life.”
