French Country Cottage

“French Country Cottage is my blog inspired by my own little French Country Cottage.  An old neglected vacation house when we found it- it’s taken a lot of blood, sweat and tears to make it a home I love to create something from nothing or re-imagining a forgotten treasure in a new way.  An old weathered wood  table with polished silver &  monogrammed china, a gilded Louis chair upholstered in burlap and draped with a beautiful faux fur throw, a gorgeous French armoire with elegant lines and details and covered in chipping paint…The mix of the rustic and the elegant is perfection to me.”
