The Creekline House

Creek Line House “About a year ago, My husband Chris, our daughter Kennedy and myself packed up and left our life in the big city to move back to Chris’ hometown. We bought a turn-of-the-century farmhouse in the country that needs a whole lot of work. Little by little (by very little) we’re reshaping and restoring this house into the kind of place we want for our family to call home, with some reshaping of ourselves happening in there as well along the way.”

Interiors by Kenz

Interiors By Kenz “Me and Mr Kenz (His man-name is Aaron), have a dusty blue house in the greater Salt Lake area. It’s a 1980′s Rambler. She was dubbed Green Meadow Manor. GMM for short. GMM was never able to ditch her acid-washed jeans and crimped hair, and by that I mean: Her style got stuck in the 80′s. Most people were too embarrassed to be GMM’s friend, but we knew under those acid-washed jeans there lied something stunning.”

Funky Junk Interiors

Funky Junk Interiors “Having few tool skills, I did my best to attempt to fix what was broke, but it was way beyond my own capabilities. Then one day, a knock on my door opened to a wonderful team of folks offering to help me fix my place! It was a dream come true. A year later, the renos left me with a beautiful new home! Only trouble was, my exhausted funds left me with nothing to decorate with. I knew then if I wanted to furnish my pretty new old home, I’d have to get wildly creative. So I started curbside diving and thrifting with a vengeance! Found objects were put to work in every nook and cranny. I also learned how to swing a few tools with the help of some great friends and started to tackle the mysterious world of building stuff.”

French Country Cottage

French Country Cottage “French Country Cottage is my blog inspired by my own little French Country Cottage. An old neglected vacation house when we found it- it’s taken a lot of blood, sweat and tears to make it a home I love to create something from nothing or re-imagining a forgotten treasure in a new way. An old weathered wood table with polished silver & monogrammed china, a gilded Louis chair upholstered in burlap and draped with a beautiful faux fur throw, a gorgeous French armoire with elegant lines and details and covered in chipping paint…The mix of the rustic and the elegant is perfection to me.”
